Remove a GIT Project from Team Explorer in Visual Studio

Remove a local repository or project from the Local Git Repositories window in Visual Studio’s Team Explorer window.

Step 1.

Go to the working directory root folder for the repositroy

Step 2.

Delete the hidden .git folder from the folder directory.
